Scotia Training is a national provider of SVQ and HNC training to the health and social care sector. Scotia Training was founded to provide specialist training and consultancy services to private care homes; Scotia Training are an independent company built on valuable experience acquired through hands on working with service users as well as academic learning. Through continuity and integrity we guarantee our progressive approach provides candidates with expertise, diverse occupational experience and dedication.

We work with providers of care to children, young people and adults within the private sector, local authority, voluntary sector or charitable organisations.

Education

Scotia Education offer an education service to local authorities for their young people who are not in mainstream education for whatever reason. We also provide education packages for residential care providers, this service can be delivered in the service providers own premises or at our own modern premises in Sanquhar.

The Curriculum For Excellence is fully embraced at Scotia Education, everything we do is embedded in one or more of the core elements of the curriculum. The curriculum includes the totality of experiences which are planned for children and young people through their education, wherever they are being educated.

Care Solutions

 A software solution to the everyday running of a residential care organisation is available. This database covers all the everyday recording, risk assessments, care planning and lots lots more.

The system prompts users to record the required information to meet legislative requirements as well as ensuring consistent care. Documents can be created directly from the system for storage in the young persons files.
